The Suikoden video games series is considered as one of the best RPG franchises—heck, one of the best video game franchises—and the fans still show a lot of love to the series with no signs of letting up.
Gamers first experienced the world of Suikoden back in 1998 and 1999 on the PlayStation, and it's been 10 years since we got our hands on Suikoden V on the PlayStation 2. But thanks to a Facebook community page, we might have a chance to revive Konami's beloved RPG games.
Today, June 3, Suikoden Revival Movement is giving the fans the opportunity to reach out to Konami as the group aims to bombard Konami for 24 hours on its US, UK, and Japanese social media accounts through the use of #SuikodenOnSteam for the company to notice their request to release the games on PC through Steam.
Even before the campaign began, there have been rereleases a few years back of the first two games on the PlayStation 3 and Vita as PS1 Classics. But don't you think it's time to go back into that world and play the games in more powerful platforms?
It may be a long shot due to recent issues within the company, but hey, it may be worth the effort because, who knows, the publisher might actually hear the fans. Since it is still June 3 here in our place, why not take the remaining time to help and reach out to Konami?
