AMD Introduces New “Zen 5” based Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Series Processors for High-End Desktops

Following AMD's initial announcement at Computex, the new AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Series processors for high-end desktops (HEDT) will start shipping on July 31.

Based on the new “Zen 5” CPU architecture, the Threadripper 9000 Series will be available from AMD’s wide network of regional system builders and channel partners. Also shipping this month are the new Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-Series processors as communicated previously.

Threadripper 9000 Series processors deliver the ultimate in overclockable desktop power with up to 64 “Zen 5” CPU cores and 128 threads, up to 256MB of L3 cache and 4-channel DDR5-6400 memory1.
