The new Adrenalin 2020 Edition features an overhaul on the Red Team’s gaming application. It includes the new Radeon Boost feature for enhanced performance and fluidity to fast-motion gameplay, new Integer Display Scaling technology that enhances classic games to fit for modern displays, and significant enhancements to AMD Link.

There’s also a new integrated web browser so you can look up FAQs, walkthroughs, video tutorials, and so much more without having to alt+tab out of the game you’re currently playing.

New and Enhanced Features

Radeon Boost – Radeon Boost is an interesting feature that comes along with Adrenalin 2020. It delivers a performance boost during fast-motion scenarios by dynamically reducing image resolution to increase framerates and fluidity with little to no perceptible changes in image quality. Basically, in fast-motion games like Overwatch, the resolution scales down to deliver more performance without tanking so much in quality.

AMD Link – AMD Link sees an updated interface that matches the new application’s look and feel. This feature lets you stream your games to your mobile devices anywhere you are. Just make sure you’ve got a high-speed and stable internet connection.

Integer Display Scaling – Integer Display Scaling scales up on-screen images from one pixel to four or more to give classic games a retro-pixel art style look with ultra-crisp scaling options for high-PPI displays without a performance penalty.

DirectML Media Filters – Visual noise reduction and upscaling filters make use of machine learning to clean up photo and video files, delivering better quality than traditional de-noise and upscale filters.

Radeon Image Sharpening and Radeon Anti-Lag – Radeon Image Sharpening and Radeon Anti-Lag comes to DirectX 11 games, and even now comes with adjustment levels for you to fine tune your preference in sharpness. Anti-Lag also adds support for DirectX 9 titles on pre-Radeon RX 5500 series graphics cards.
