New Details of Pokemon Sun and Moon Emerge in New Teaser

At last! Another generation of Pokemon will unveil for us Pokemon Trainers to explore and to try to catch 'em all. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will be released on November 18, 2016. Though we are somehow far from the release date, Nintendo dropped some teasers for the public for us to be excited about the game. Here are the things that got us already hooked in the game even before its release date.

At last! Another generation of Pokemon will unveil for us Pokemon Trainers to explore and to try to catch 'em all. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will be released on November 18, 2016. Though we are somehow far from the release date, Nintendo dropped some teasers for the public for us to be excited about the game. Here are the things that got us already hooked in the game even before its release date: 

• Our journey will start in Alola region, a tropical hawaiian region. Alola region consists of 4 major island in which one of them is man-made.

• Trainer customization is back. It will allow the player to choose their avatar's skin and eye color. Also, just like in Pokemon XY, the player can change their clothes and accessories. 

• With every new region, of course there are also new legendaries. For Pokemon Sun, we have Solgaleo, a Psychic-Steel Pokemon with the ability Full Metal Body and a killer attack which is Sunsteel Strike. On the other hand, Pokemon Moon have Lunala, a Psychic-Ghost Pokemon with the ability Shadow Shield and its finisher attack is Moongeist Beam

Since ancient times, Solgaleo has been honored as an emissary of the sun. It is referred to with reverence as “the beast that devours the sun.”

• Zygarde, from the Pokemon X and Y will return but now, he has 2 new forms, the 10% Forme which resembles a bit like a dog and its Complete Forme that totally looks badass, trampling the XY form that hides in that lonely cave. 

• We also have Professor Kukui, the resident Pokemon Hunk--- Professor in Alola region. The professor also has his trusted assistant which is the mysterious Lillie.

 

• We can't start our new adventure in the Alola region without choosing one of the 3 main starters: Rowlet, a Grass-Flying type Pokemon, Litten, a Fire type Pokemon, and last but certainly not the least, Popplio, a Water type Pokemon. The person that will be giving you your first partner Pokemon will be Hala, a strong Pokemon Trainer in the island. 

• Since you recently moved (and it's becoming the norm) to Alola region you will get to meet Hau, you're new friend... or a rival perhaps.

• Do you remember Rotom from generation 4? The cute orange fella is making a comeback this time but not as an electric fan, fridge, oven, lawnmower, or washing machine. Rotom will be your new Pokedex. 

• With the new region comes several new Pokemon too like Pikipek, a Normal-Flying type Pokemon, Yungoos, a Normal type Pokemon, Grubbin, a Bug type Pokemon, and many many more. 

• The game also features a new interface when it comes to battling. On the touch screen, you can now see Pokemon sprites in battle. When you tap the sprites, it will show you the stats of the respective Pokemon. For example, you used Growl on the opposing Pokemon. When you tap the sprite of the Pokemon you are battling, it will indicate that its Attack went down. This also works vice-versa. 

• Do you sometimes forget what type is effective against another type? Well, in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon indicators are now implemented below the attack name which will tell the player if that attack is effective or not effective against the opposing Pokemon. This will help the players up their battling skills.

• A cute new quirk in this game is that every time you catch a Pokemon, it will indicate if you haven't caught its other evolution or its counterpart. This will make the Pokemon Trainers be on their toes and try to complete every single Pokemon. 

• There is a new way of battling with friends and that is through Battle Royale. This will consists of 4 players and each player will get to pick 3 Pokemon but the battle will only be 1 Pokemon at a time. At the end, the scores will be tallied on how many Pokemon they have defeated and whoever has the highest amount of number will win the Battle Royale.

 
So far, these are the new features that Nintendo and Game Freak teased us regarding the game. As we get closer to the release date, Nintendo will definitely drop more information about the game to hype all Pokemon Trainers and new players alike, around the world. The game will be available on the 3DS and it will be released this coming November.
