JRPG fans have already been looking for proper titles (ports) on the PC, and it goes without saying that there's really not a lot to go with especially if you don't know where to look around. Square Enix might be your first stop when it comes to such, but let's not forget Falcom's titles from the Trails in the Sky and Ys franchises. And with Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana marking the return of the franchise in the West, it seems NIS America has pushed back its release date indefinitely 1 day right before it releases.
We regret to inform everyone that the release date for Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA on PC has been pushed back due to continued efforts in improving gameplay quality.
We sincerely apologize to our fans who have been looking forward to this release. Ultimately, our goal is for fans to enjoy a high-quality game. We are providing the extra care in the PC development of the game by taking time to enhance the overall quality of gameplay.

Too bad for the PCMR if you’re looking to play Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana in its definitive edition. This might be a case of NIS America adding up Denuvo to the game for DRM. Whelp. We’re keeping our fingers crossed.
